What you need to know about Census 2020

February 8, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Census 2020 will count every person living in Orange County, the United States and U.S. territories. It will provide a snapshot of our nation—our population, where we’re living, and so much more. A complete and accurate count is critical, as the results of the 2020 Census will affect congressional representation, community funding, and more. Every year, more than $675 billion goes toward hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, housing programs, emergencies and natural disasters from information collected by the census. Find out about Census 2020, why its results are important to your community, and how the United States Census Bureau is making it easier than ever before for people to respond to the Census.
